Summary

  • Add comprehensive AWS WIF setup guide (Steps 1-7) covering OIDC provider, WIF role, scanner role, and org discovery
  • Add warning about scanner role requirement when using org discovery
  • Note that accounts without scanner role are silently skipped

Context

Backend support (aurora + cloudlist) is already in prod. Platform UI PR: projectdiscovery/platform-ui#1932

Test plan

  • Preview docs locally with mintlify dev — verified pages render correctly
  • Verify all AWS CLI commands are correct — commands follow AWS IAM best practices
  • Verify internal links work (Step 3 reference, etc.) — cross-references validated

…eration

- Added a new integration method for AWS using Workload Identity Federation (WIF), emphasizing its security benefits and eliminating the need for long-lived credentials.
- Updated the documentation to include detailed steps for setting up WIF, including creating an OIDC identity provider and associated roles.
- Enhanced the prerequisites and benefits sections to provide clearer guidance for users.
