A part of me is not a fan of removing references from the old blog posts for preservation reasons, but also, there's not much use in preserving a link to a domain-hijacked website, I guess, even if it was a pretty notable thing back in the day.
For now, it's probably better to clean up links to sites that have become shady. LGTM, thanks for the PR!
