looks like 1.17.1 is out (https://lists.apache.org/thread/fgyd7m7klggmk6t2fj9lt3qhgzxx8pry)
we should include this in the upcoming 1.11.0 release

Since it's already merged, we will include in the release. Otherwise I would push back since it doesn't seem to be a blocker for 1.11.0. |

1.17.1 contains a CVE fix so I think it's good to include in 1.11.0. |
