Updated the history of the FOSS minor at RIT, what happened to the FOSS minor at RIT for a little while now.

Updated the history of the FOSS minor at RIT, noting its discontinuation and future plans.

Open@RIT participates in research projects, receives funding from grants, provides open source community consultation to faculty and staff, and hosts town halls for the Open Source community on campus.
Although the name has changed to Open@RIT, the organization is still involved with faculty members of MAGIC.

Saying a specific timeframe (such as fall/spring and the year) is better for a timeline since the meaning of "now" is always changing.

Although the name has changed to Open@RIT, the organization is still involved with faculty members of MAGIC.

Now, following Stephen Jacob's retirement, this minor has been discontinued. Although, the immersion still exists but it is now managed by the ([Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation.](https://www.rit.edu/liberalarts/institute-interdisciplinary-innovation)) The Free and Open Source Software and Free Culture Minor at RIT is no longer accepting new student applications.

I'd want to verify that the minor is run by IID - since my first time hearing about them was at imagine RIT.

## FOSS Minor While Now
Now, following Stephen Jacob's retirement, this minor has been discontinued. Although, the immersion still exists but it is now managed by the ([Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation.](https://www.rit.edu/liberalarts/institute-interdisciplinary-innovation)) The Free and Open Source Software and Free Culture Minor at RIT is no longer accepting new student applications.

The minor is noted to be under modification to align with a new multidisciplinary immersion program, and a “minor 2.0” version was planned for Fall 2022 open. It’s possible that the updated version may have different requirements or be rebranded.
