Two separate things in this thread:

1. Your original ask — better docs / tooltips for Advanced settings. Valid point. Right now the desktop UI has inline .on_hover_text() tooltips on every Advanced field (TLS verify, log_level, parallel_relay, upstream_socks5, youtube_via_relay, passthrough_hosts, etc.) — hover any label and you get the one-line explanation. The Android app has the same via Compose tooltips. But there's no one dedicated README section that lists them all in one place. I'll add an "Advanced settings reference" section to the SF_README.md (the short guide) in the next docs pass — that's the right home for a "quick lookup" table that doesn't need the full justification each option has in the existing config.example.json. Flagging this to carry forward.

2. The second comment about running a shared Apps Script for users who can't reach script.google.com. Full answer in #138, quick version: we can't host a public shared deployment (20k/day quota per account would be exhausted by a single popular user), but mhrv-rs has a built-in google_only bootstrap mode designed for this exact case — run it without any Deployment ID first, which makes script.google.com reachable in your browser, then do the one-time script deploy under your own account. No one else needs to run anything for you.

For the Plangto/help-me-connected-READ_ISSUES- repo — that's not officially monitored. Please post future reports directly in this repo's Issues so the whole community sees and can benefit from the answer.
