What feature would you like added?

On many desktop Linux distributions, one can designate a compose key (a popular choice is Right Alt). This key allows one to type sequences like Compose, e, ^ to get ê, etc. There are hundreds of pre-configured combinations out of the box, which are usually quite intuitive and therefore memorization is not needed.

For Windows systems, there is https://wincompose.info

For Android, nothing like this exists yet, but KeyMapper looks like it already has 99% of what is needed to achieve this.

A possible workaround is to create every possible compose sequence manually in KeyMapper, but that is too hard to do for us users. It would be great if there was some kind of pre-packaged compose key option that enables all of these sequences in one shot.

My personal use case (which I think is very common) is to designate the Right Alt key on the Bluetooth keyboard of my tablet as a compose key so that I can write languages like Afrikaans or French, which have many diacritics.
