If I may politely ask, for my use cases I would like these two additions, if they are not too big in scope. If they are too big in scope, I will retract this.
- A B9 Equivalent to the block
EXTRA_INFO {} with boolean reverseDeployDirection seen on Breaking Ground propellers
- A B9 hook into the
ModulePartVariants hack that allows colored fairings to behave - currently, if fairings are made to use b9 instead of variants, the procedural element will become unlit (in the VAB view only) and be stuck as a white shell.
- The ability to resize attachment nodes, alongside moving their XYZ
- Additional texture block features from
ModulePartVariants - most importantly, _Shininess used for light props in restock, materialName used for light props in restock, shader used to switch KSP/Bumped Specular / KSP/Specular in restock on the 1.25m tanks
I am replacing all stock and modded variants from the base game (which are possible to, given these limitations) with B9 switches in a patch pack I am working on, and would need these to port fairings and fan blades (the third is optional). I do apologize if I am asking for a lot, I understand the uninformed may tend to chronically underestimate programmers!
